Some very sad news. We have has received an email from John Bevan’s daughter Heather, advising us that John has died.
Details are a bit sparse at the moment but we do have some details of the funeral, this being Monday 18th July at 11am at Clare Church, Clare in Suffolk., proceeding to a crematorium in Bury St Edmunds at 12:30 and we are awaiting confirmation of a time and venue for the wake. The family have asked to borrow some club shirts for the funeral
We haven’t seen John at the club for a few years but he was a great character and stalwart back in the 70s and 80s. He will be very missed by all that knew him.
